Expert Peel

NOTICE: Expert Peel is a highly active exfoliation product and should be used only by qualified skin care professionals after thoroughly reviewing product training materials and performing a thorough skin consultation on their clients to determine if appropriate to use. 

Due to the highly active nature of this formula, DO NOT use with ultrasonic, microdermabrasion, microcurrent or other skin care technologies.

• Do not use on broken skin.  
  
• Not recommended for clients with compromised immune function or other conditions that results in thinned skin or slowed wound healing, clients with sensitive skin, nor in cases where you are unfamiliar with the client’s reaction to assertive exfoliation services.
  
• Ensure that clients have discontinued the use of prescription medications on the area to be applied for at least one week prior to service.
  
• Perform a patch test in an inconspicuous area prior to use.  
  
• Do not use this product with abrasive brushes, skin care technology, or devices of any kind.
  
• Do not combine with abrasive products and other exfoliants.
  
  Important: Thoroughly rinse from the skin from the skin with cool water. Do not rub the skin or use abrasive towels or sponges.
  
  Sunburn Alert: This product contains an alpha hydroxy acid (AHA) that may increase your skin’s sensitivity to the sun and particularly the possibility of sunburn. Use a sunscreen, wear protective clothing, and limit sun exposure while using this product and for a week afterwards.

• Begin with gently cleansed skin that is completely dry.
  
• If this is the first time using this product on a particular client, start with a small patch test in an inconspicuous area of the skin.
  
• Dispense two to three pumps of product into a cup and apply with a fan brush to the areas desired, being extremely cautious to avoid the eye area, nasal/mouth areas, and any areas of sensitized or broken skin.
  
• Allow to set on the skin for up to three minutes, consistently checking in with your client with regards to their comfort. Remove immediately with cool water if client reports moderate discomfort. First time clients should begin with an application time of no more than 40 seconds to one minute.
  
• Remove thoroughly with cold water, ensuring all traces of product are thoroughly removed.
  
• Follow with a rich layer of moisturizer, then Shade SPF30 if the service is performed during daytime.
